We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our students, staff, and faculty. As part of that commitment, the University now requires that all incoming undergraduate students complete an online diversity and inclusion module.
Titled Welcome to the Pack, this video-based module provides critical information about bias, stereotyping, prejudice, microaggressions, classroom dynamics, and social media. Welcome to the Pack is designed to help students better understand how vitally important these issues are to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment and to express our community expectations.
This module is required of all incoming students starting classes at UConn in the fall and spring semesters. A transcript hold and a registration hold will be placed on the student's UConn record until a student earns 80% on the post-test in the module.
To access the Welcome to the Pack module:
- Log in using your NetID and password
For technical difficulties, please email: support@studentsuccess.org
If your hold has not been removed within 24 hours, please email welcometothepack@uconn.edu with a screenshot of your final score using your UConn email address.
